ECU Urban Research Park
This project serves as a catalyst to drive economic development and growth in the City of Greenville, the Pitt County region, and the eastern state of NC. The ESC vision promotes new innovation, coordinates research, technology ideas, and helps grow businesses.
We are establishing this 19-Acre redevelopment to become an “Olympic training center” for growth-oriented local and regional businesses that can leverage East Caroling University research talent.
Elliott Sidewalk Communities is restoring and reusing historic structures and weaving new buildings to a new “campus environment” that anchors the planned Dickinson Avenue Arts and Innovation District. This project opens doors to create an entirely new type of “place” for innovation. It incorporates urban location, cultural access, and is resource driven.
The start of the 19-acre redevelopment will begin with The century-old Export Leaf Tobacco Warehouse. It will house office space and retail for community enjoyment.
