Modern Office Special Report: Developers see ballpark venues as home run with tenants
The crack of the baseball bat is spurring two developers to spend $36 million on office space in downtown Greensboro and High Point. Front Street Capital, based in Winston-Salem, is investing $22 million in Project Slugger, an office project adjacent to First National Ball Park, home of the Greensboro Grasshoppers team. In High Point, Elliott Sidewalk Communities is developing an $11 million office building called The Outfields at the BB&T Point Stadium, which opened last May
